Tsunami warning extended to much of Pacific region, but not to U.S. West Coast

Officials widened an alert for possible tsunamis resulting from the 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Japan, covering large swaths of the Pacific Ocean but not California and the West Coast of the U.S. and Canada.
The latest alerts cover Japan, Russia, many Asia countries and Pacific islands including Hawaii as well as many South and Central American countries such as Chile, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru and Colombia.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that a new warning would be issued as more information becomes available.
In Hawaii, officials expect a wave could hit at 2:59 a.m. Hawaii time (4:59 a.m. PST).
California, Alaska, Washington, Oregon and British Columbia are not included in the warnings.

It was some sort of contentment locating your site a short while ago. I came here this day hoping to discover something new. I was not disappointed. Just about all I can express is, I don’t know what to really say! Except needless to say, for the amazing tips that are shared with this blog. I am able to think of a zillion fun methods to read the reports on this site. I think I will finally make a move using your tips on that matter I could not have been able to deal with alone.
